HIGHLIGHTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Aunigma Technology Recognized Web-wide
January 26, 2010.
After several years of intense R&D effort, Auburn
University engineers who developed Aunigma Network
Solutions’ core technology recently published the
results of their work in the
International Journal of
Information and Computer Security
(
2009,
Vol. 3, No. 2, pp. 195-223
).
The significance of this new methodology for
protecting Web-based assets was quickly recognized
by
ScienceDaily,
Smarter Technology
and dozens of other Internet news outlets, Web sites
and blogs around the globe.
Aunigma and Auburn are engaged in a partnership to
commercialize the Identity-Based Privacy-Protected
Access Control Filter (IPACF) protocol.
By leveraging the school’s research,
Aunigma’s veteran founding team has developed a
revolutionary IP security and network optimization
solution named PacketLok™.
This revolutionary "military grade"
technology exceeds the best practices of current
network transport and security offerings—meeting
ever emerging network privacy, protection and
performance demands.

Aunigma Attains Principal Partner Status in Sun
Partner Advantage Program
March 6, 2008. Aunigma announced today that it is a
Principal Partner in the SunSM Partner
Advantage Program for Independent Software Vendors
(ISVs). Aunigma qualified for this level by meeting
Sun’s stringent criteria for excellence as a
supplier of networking and security solutions, and
by committing to tight strategic and technical
alignment with Sun.
By achieving Principal Partner status, Aunigma joins
the growing community of ISVs that are developing
applications for or porting applications to the Sun
platform. The benefits to Sun customers include
access to a broader range of pre-tested, optimized
solutions; investment protection and reduced total
cost of ownership (TCO) through collaborative
engineering between Sun and its partners; and a
higher level of predictability and support as Sun
rolls out its latest technologies and software
upgrades.

Aunigma Technology Undergoes Third Party Verification
Verification of Aunigma’s capabilities by third parties and certification by independent
software testing labs are important steps in gaining both recognition and acceptance in the
marketplace. During December our technology successfully passed vector analysis by a well-known
security consultant. Additional verification will take place after the first of the year with
Aunigma’s growing list of partners.
Android Becomes Additional Platform for Aunigma
In November Google unveiled a suite of software—dubbed
Android—for mobile phones based on open-source technology. This new platform is backed by some of
the largest wireless industry companies in the world. Anticipating the market opportunities that mobile
applications will bring, Aunigma migrated PacketLok to Android during December. The company will begin
developing innovations for the platform in 1Q08.

VPN gateway solution. The company now participates in the Sun Developer Network, the OpenSolaris™
Community and the Java™ Technology Community. In January 2008 Aunigma will become a part of the
Sun Partner Advantage Program. www.sun.com.
New Agreement Struck with Auburn
After completing an extensive due diligence test, Auburn University converted its existing option agreement
with Aunigma to a further reaching contract in May. The new license agreement grants exclusive worldwide rights
to Auburn’s patent-pending security technology. Aunigma is pursuing additional patent protection for its
new developments. www.auburn.edu.
Aunigma Accepted as an ISV for RIM
Research In Motion (RIM) invited Aunigma to join the
BlackBerry® Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Alliance Program in May. This program affords members
